Fractional CO2 laser MED-X is specially designed for advanced and holistic skin rejuvenation and restoration as well as for neoplasm, scarring and cicatrical tissue removal. The advanced fractional CO2 laser MED-X is specially designed to solved the problem of vaginal rejuvenation most delicately. A fully-featured system allows to effectively combat many problems and imperfections, including successfully treatment of atrophy of the mucosa in gynecology, urinary incontinence, return the tone and elasticity of the vaginal muscles. Each pulse of the laser delivers a column of energy that can reach the skin’s dermal layer. This stimulates a natural renewal process of the body’s own collagen. Also, because the laser beam has been fractionated, small areas of untreated skin will be left between the treated spots. By strategically performing the procedure in this way, the healing process is accelerated.

Features of the fractional CO2 laser MED-X
The device is easy-to-handle due to the use of a 7-jointed optical waveguide, allowing to treat in different positions. The device is supplemented by a flexible airline and a wear-resistant data transfer loop, which provide reliable control of the laser handpiece, capable of forming a working spot of various shapes. The maximum number of dots is 400 with an interval from 0.12 to 1.25 mm.
For high efficiency of action on the epidermis and subcutaneous tissues, the CO2 laser is equipped with a red semiconductor emitter (up to 5 mW), which is synchronized with a constant source of carbon dioxide. Due to the presence of various fractions in the flow, it is possible to instantly heat the water in the cells (+300 °C), then evaporating it and removing the dehydrated protein residue.
To avoid overheating and accidental breakdowns, the unit is equipped with a dual cooling system (water + air) and multi-stage protection against voltage steps, overload and current leakage.

Before starting the fractional CO2 laser MED-X, it is necessary to conduct a surface peeling as well as disinfection of the skin and the application of an anesthetic cream or gel (30-40 minutes before the treatment). Then, using one of the nozzles, the problem zone is treated with laser light of a given frequency, length, and energy. In this case, the Overlap mode can be used to increase the efficiency of the procedure.
The time for one treatment session is usually 15-60 minutes. To completely eliminate an aesthetic skin problem, you may need a course of 3-6 procedures, spaced 4-5 weeks apart. The maximum treatment effect increases gradually over 4-6 weeks and lasts for 6-8 months.
